ORGANIZER AND COACH: Martin Coté with a weekly program of specific training sessions for triathletes (bike rides with guided tours, swimming sessions in the pool and in the sea, running sessions and much more). The training sessions are in French and English.

ADLON COTE CAMP TRIATHLON PROGRAM

Before camp:

  • Relaxed training week, obligatory complete rest of 24 hours before departure…you have to be in good shape!!!
  • Prepare your equipment for the trip, consult the list prepared by Martin Côté. Future
  • First day at the Adlon Riccione Hotel
  • Arrival by shuttle service if applicable
  • In the evening: if possible, group dinner and briefing with all the details of the camp with Martin,
  • Training is not compulsory for anyone; you can relax if you wish.
  • It is important to arrive on time for training for the details and objectives of these.

Training sessione immediately after the bike

  • Brick technical running workshop (educational) followed by a 4km race
  • Two time slots depending on the arrivals of the different cycling groups

MONDAY 13
Bike tour: 3 routes

  • San Marino short (C26 San Marino via breve-64 kms 920 m+ Caffelatte-distance sprint)
  • San Marino Classic (T57 Caffè a San Marino-81 km 1100 m+ Tiramisù-Olympic distance)
  • San Marino long (E10 Montealtovelio San Marino-101 km 1600 m+ Espresso-long distance)

4 p.m. sea swimming session, approximately 45 minutes

TUESDAY 14

  • Santarcangelo easy (C39 Santarcangelo via mare-64 km 207m Caffelate-sprint distance)

4 p.m. Race track and field interval workshop on track, duration approx. 60 minutes

WEDNESDAY 15
Free bike tours
4 p.m. Swimming Drills Workshop at the pool
Private swimming lane reserved by the hotel
Moving to the pool in a very relaxed jog

THURSDAY 16
Bike tour: 3 routes

  • Saludecio (C29 Saludecio Mondaino via Usignolo-60 kms 640 m+ Caffelate-Olympic distance)
  • Mondaino (T32 San Giorgio Saludecio Mondaino 73 kms 760 m+ Tiramisù-long distance)
  • Urbino (T63 Urbino via San Giorgio-105 kms 940 m+ Espresso-distance full iron man)

Training sessione from 5 to 10 kms depending on the runners’ objectives

FRIDAY THE 17TH
Go by bike to the Giro d’Italia, stage departure from Riccione, if possible, or tours depending on the day
4 p.m. Endurance swim in the sea long distance 60 minutes
Reboxing the bike or returning the rental

SATURDAY 18
Break day for athletes from the two-week camp.
Suggestions: VENICE, by train, journey 2h52
RAVENNA (1H30 by train), BOLOGNA (1H10 by train), FIRENZE (2H26 by train)
For the new arrivals, assistance with bike assembly or rental

Long run 3 groups (6km-12km-18km) or bike tours
Then transition zone preparation workshop as well as transition practice duration approximately 90 minutes

TUESDAY 21
Bike tour: 3 routes

  • Montefiore easy (C41 Montefiore San Clemente-63 km 630 m+ Caffelatte-sprint and Olympic groups)

Departure small ride or easy route
4 p.m. Endurance swim in the ocean long distance 60 minutes
Reboxing the bike or returning the bike rental

Information and general terms of the training camp:

This weekly program is only indicative since it depends on the weather (rain, wind, temperature) and the cyclists present in the hotel.

Our goal is to raise awareness of the region and have fun and training.

We will offer as destinations the famous Panoramica, in the San Bartolo Park Reserve, and medieval and Renaissance villages rich in history and culture, such as Saludecio, Mondaino, Montefiore, the Republic of San Marino, Santarcangelo, San Leo, Urbino, Sogliano (where the Gran Fondo Novecolli and the Tour de France 2024 pass). There will probably be tours to Carpegna and Cippo (Passo Pantani)

As already mentioned, changes are made continuously and even the same tours can be changed with the guide. The tours are different not only in terms of length and elevation but above all in terms of average speed.

 

Each course requires a minimum number of 6 members. It generally leaves in May at 9:00 a.m. and returns around 2:30 p.m., maximum 3:00 p.m. for the Bike Brunch

At least one coffee break is obligatory. There are three routes, Caffelatte, Tiramisù and Espresso. Caffelatte and Tiramisù are generally with less competitive cyclists

There may also be a break to take photos or a walk to discover a village.

The indicative average speed of Caffelatte is 18-22 km/h up to an Espresso of 25-32 km/h. We try to have homogeneous groups so that everyone can have fun.

The hotel offers around a hundred routes, all available via GPX.

The schedule above is a typical program, but as already mentioned, it will certainly be subject to variations. The day before the routes will always be determined for each of you.

Swimming sessions (swimming pool 1500 meters from the hotel) and running sessions will be on the program.

For sea swimming, a swimming buoy is MANDATORY for all participants without exception.

Triathlon transition workshop as well as transition practice are offered

The Hotel is located directly on the beach so the “off the bike” races (Brick) will be on the promenade in front of the hotel or by the sea. Please note that the COACH COTÉ Triathlon workshops will be in French and English
